Sproles, Graham lead Saints injury report

Almost a quarter of the Saints roster landed on the injury report for Thursday night’s game against the Falcons and most of them are listed as questionable.

The most worrisome of the lot would probably be running back Darren Sproles, who hasn’t practiced either of the last two days with knee and ankle issues. The Saints offense should have enough weapons to succeed against a vulnerable Falcons defense, but things tend to go better for them when Sproles is in the lineup.

Right guard Jahiri Evans also missed practice this week. He’s suffering from an ankle injury, although he, like Sproles, was able to play through his injury against the 49ers.

Tight end Jimmy Graham is listed as probable with the ankle injury that’s nagged him for a while, but there’s little chance he won’t play after playing nearly three-quarters of the team’s snaps last Sunday. He was able to practice the last two days, as were the other players on the injury report.

Those other questionable players are guard Ben Grubbs (neck), cornerback Rod Sweeting (hip), safety Kenny Vaccaro (concussion), defensive end Tyrunn Walker (knee), tight end Ben Watson (concussion), cornerback Chris Carr (hip/back/hamstring), and defensive tackle Akiem Hicks (back). Linebacker Curtis Lofton (hamstring/ankle) and defensive end Cam Jordan (ankle) are probable.
