The Saints have lost Jabari Greer for the season, due to a torn ACL.  Corey White, a fifth-round pick in 2012, now steps up.

The gap trickled down, with the Saints adding Trevin Wade to the roster.

Before signing Wade, the Saints looked at a total of five defensive backs.  Getting Gong Show tryouts were Myron Lewis, Terrence McGee, Antwaun Molden, D.J. Moore, and Wade.

Wade won the check for $516.32, along with a chance to continue a career that started with 13 regular-season appearances for the Browns in 2012.

$516.32 seems like a bizarre number, like the $7,875 fines the CBA allows…

What’s amazing is that the Saints lost 5 defensive starters: Patrick Robinson, Kenyon Coleman, Victor Butler, Will Smith, Jabari Greer and yet they still are the 4th best defense IN THE LEAGUE. Look it up.

Kinda shows you how sad Atlanta is to use injuries as the excuse for their lost season.
