McClellin back, Finnegan likely out for Bears-Rams game

McClellin

The injury-ravaged Bears get a little good news when they travel to St. Louis on Sunday. Defensive end Shea McClellin, a 2012 first-round pick, most likely returns after missing two games with a hamstring injury.

McClellin, who fully participated in practice all week, is probable. When he last played nearly three weeks ago against the Packers, McClellin was named NFC defensive player of the week -- and he tackled Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers in a way that resulted in a broken collarbone.

Also probable are long snapper Patrick Mannelly (calf), tackle Jordan Mills (quad), and cornerback Isaiah Frey (cornerback).

Missing the game for the Bears will be defensive lineman Jay Ratliff (groin), defensive tackle Stephan Paea (toe), linebacker Lance Briggs (shoulder), and quarterback Jay Cutler (ankle).

Most likely missing the game for the Rams will be cornerback Cortland Finnegan, who is doubtful with an eye injury. Guard Harvey Dahl (knee) is out, as is quarterback Brady Quinn (hip).
