The Texans look every bit like a team that’s lost eight straight games.
Not only are they losing 10-3 at halftime to the Jaguars, but the small spark they seemed to have found in quarterback Case Keenum has faded.
The Texans have managed just 60 yards in the first half, with Keenum a sparkling 5-of-12 for 32 yards.
The Jaguars are playing like a team that doesn’t realize they’re hopeless, which is the reason they’re ahead of the Texans. Chad Henne’s been perfectly fine (14-of-21 for 161 yards), and the Jaguars have hit a few big plays (including a 44-yard run by Maurice Jones-Drew).
