Kyle Long tries to kick a Ram, but not his brother

Kyle Long is getting grounded.  By the league, his parents, or both.

The rookie Bears guard kicked at a member of the Rams — possibly William Hayes — after a play in the game being played at the Edward Jones Dome.

Kyle Long was flagged for his role in the fracas, but he wasn’t ejected, possibly because he didn’t make contact.

Not flagged was Long’s older brother, Chris, who left St. Louis the bench area in an effort to restrain his brother.

The conduct occurred at a game being attended by the parents of Kyle and Chris Long.  Their father is Hall of Famer Howie Long.

Awful reffing. If they could figure out what an incomplete pass was, none of that would have happened.

Refs are making themselves look bad in this game.

Isn’t that a suspension for leaving the bench in a fight?

It’s too bad that Bradshaw has no reason to take a week off the Fox panel.

“who left St. Louis the bench area?” I hear banjo music, time to paddle faster.

The refs were trying too hard in this game…calling every little nit-picky thing they could (almost entirely against the Bears, btw), yet missing a few big ones, too.

They constantly disrupted the flow and balance of the game – ruined it, in fact. Players don’t want to play in that kind of game, and fans don’t want to watch it. LET THEM PLAY.

I suspect this was all done because the refs knew they were officiating under the watchful eye of Competition Committee member Jeff Fisher.

Somebody needs to tell the refs – sometimes less is more.

I can’t believe he wasn’t kicked out the game

If this was Suh, he would of been suspended for at least the rest of the year. But since it’s an offensive player, he’s gonna get a pass…

The league is so inconsistent. Blando or whatever his name needs to be fired.

Maybe we should have a team of ref’s reffing the ref’s?
