Packers storming back late against Vikings

The Packers, so listless for much of Sunday’s game against Minnesota, are mounting a fourth-quarter comeback.

Matt Flynn, who replaced the ineffective Scott Tolzien at quarterback in the third quarter, hit Jarrett Boykin on a six-yard TD pass to cut the Vikings’ lead to 23-20 with 3:33 left in the game.

Flynn has completed 11-of-16 passes for 67 yards. Rookie Eddie Lacy has racked up 100 yards on 20 carries for the Packers.

Adrian Peterson has had a fine game for the Vikings, racking up 122 yards rushing and a TD on 25 carries.

So why wasn’t Matt Flynn playing from the start?

I hate Ponder’s instinct to run when he gets spooked…

As a die hard vikings fan, and a guy who never misses a play, how the f does or defensive coordinator still have a job?? Our d couldn’t stop a girls pee-wee team in the 2 minute drill!! So sick of the team this year! But, unfortunately, I’ll still watch every game…

Packer fans probably feel the same way today no matter who wins. Both defenses have been pretty bad today.

the vaunted packers are going toe to toe and a historically bad 2-8 vikes team but if the pack wins all there trolls will be on here stating there team is going to the superbowl, trust me the pack is going no where

The Packer backups put on a heroic display today to save their season. Thanks to the hapless and tasteless Vikings, the Packers STILL CONTROL THEIR OWN DESTINY!!!!!!!!!!!!

And, the Packers win the season series with the incompetent Vikings for the 4th straight year in a row!

I always get a kick out of fans from far more pathetic teams feeling the need to weigh in and take a shot. It’s like the player who starts doing a dance when he makes a play but his team is losing by thirty points.
