Patriots score two quick touchdowns to get back in

Denver Broncos v New England Patriots Getty Images

The Broncos started running away with the game in the first half thanks to six Patriots fumbles.

The Patriots only needed one Broncos fumble to get back into it.

Taking advantage of the second half kickoff and a Montee Ball fumble, the Patriots have narrowed the gap to 24-14 in the third quarter.

With a short Tom Brady pass to Julian Edelman, then a touchdown run by Brandon Bolden, the Patriots have carved into the lead, or at least made it so Peyton Manning’s going to have to throw it.

And with the Broncos missing cornerback Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie (shoulder) for the rest of the night, there should be some easier matchups for Brady to throw at as well.

Gronk scored that TD too. There was a perfect close-up shot that showed he broke the plane while his entire body was perfectly laid out in the exact lunge you need to do to score that. And he did, and didn’t get credit for it. The NFL really should take seriously the idea of reviewing all scoring plays such that plays that SHOULD be scoring plays count for a review just in case the referee blows it!!

If Brady can lead the team back to a win coming from 24 points down on a night with 40 mph winds limiting the passing game, it will be Legend… (wait for it….)

Gronk and the Patriots didn’t even care that the refs missed the call. Why would you care? fantasy team?

Because sometimes those plays change the outcomes of games. What if NE didn’t end up scoring on that drive? They had the TD. They shouldn’t be asked to have to make another play unless you are offering bonus points.

Manning just being manning in a big game !

I am watching these officials allow NE get away with MURDER just to get them back into the game.

Goodness they got the lead, and you’re still allowing blatant pass interference?

Hahaha. Brady G.O.A.T. Not scared to play Denver again in the Playoffs…home or away! Soft team and Peyton is not the same guy in the cold. Let’s go!

Lol at all the people that thinks this is rigged they got beat by the better team if Denver’s D didn’t peter out late in games they would secure these games better

Brady will always be better than Manning. 6th round pick who has consistently been asked to do more with less. I mean Manning has a back run for that many yards and cant win a game? Pats keep benching their backs and just make it work. That is a fascinating. I wish I had grown up in New England sometimes. What a tremendous team/organazation.

Youre joking right? Denver was all over the Pats WR’s too. It was just that kind of game. How about the blatant PI where Brady went nuts. That ended an OT drive.
