The Browns can’t keep quarterbacks on the field, and are especially distressed about the latest change.

Browns coach Rob Chudzinski just told reporters that starter Jason Campbell suffered a concussion in yesterday’s loss to the Steelers, and that they’d likely sign a quarterback prior to Sunday’s game against the Jaguars.

Chudzinski also indicated he wasn’t pleased that no flag was thrown on Steelers cornerback William Gay, and that they’d be sending the play to the league for review. At the least, Gay can probably expect a FedEx from the league later this week.

Brandon Weeden came in to replace Campbell, and was the only quarterback left on the roster. The Browns don’t have one on the practice squad, so for practical purposes, they’d need another arm to get through a week of practice even if Campbell is cleared later this week.
