O.J. Simpson is denied a new trial

Earlier this year, a judge surprisingly gave serious consideration to incarcerated Hall of Famer O.J. Simpson’s effort to obtain a new trial on the charges that landed him in a Nevada prison.

Not surprisingly, a judge ultimately denied the request.

According to the Associated Press, Judge Linda Marie Bell rejected the motion on Tuesday.  Simpson’s current lawyers argued that his original lawyers botched the trial.

The ruling comes after five days of testimony in May 2013, featuring 15 total witnesses.

Found guilty of kidnapping, armed robbery, and other charges in 2008, Simpson will still spend at least four more years in prison.

Great news after all. Thought it had a good chance to go the other way. Awesome.

As Tina Fey put it so elegantly a few years ago, “OJ Simpson was sentenced to prison this week for armed robbery, but really for murder.”

No new trial on this rap, but they did offer him a new trial on the murder charge. Due to extreme irregularities in the procedures.

So hasty to judge. I believe well be seeing this again similarly with Hernandez.

Too bad there wasn’t another “small glove” at the scene of the Vegas crime

I guess he can resume his search for Nicole’s killer in 4 years. Grab the golf clubs and get to work!

    Free The Juice!

The Vegas punishment is excessive for the crime committed & time has been served.

The murder case remains suspect. Check Youtube for the Private Investigator with the claim that OJ’s son was the killer… OJ is Guilty, but Not of Murder.

Too bad Johnny Cochran isn’t around to bail him out again.

I guess this time the glove did fit.
