John Fox will be spending Thanksgiving in Denver.
Mike Klis of the Denver Post reports that Fox has arrived back at his Colorado home after recuperating from his November 4 heart surgery in Charlotte, North Carolina. Klis reported last week that owner Pat Bowlen was sending his plane to pick up Fox and his wife.
Now that he’s back in Denver, the watch will be on for Fox’s return to his coaching duties. There’s no word on when that might happen with Fox saying only that expects to return as coach at some point this season.
Fox has been in regular communication with players, including taking part in team meetings via Skype, on top of his daily conversations with interim coach Jack Del Rio so his involvement with the team hasn’t gone away during his absence. That should make transitioning back into the job easier whenever he’s deemed ready to resume a full workload.
