Success in all three phases gives Baltimore 13-0 lead

The Ravens have received positive contributions from their offense, defense and special teams en route to a 13-0 early third-quarter lead vs. the Steelers in Baltimore.

The Ravens’ defense, which held the Steelers to 98 first-half yards, has been stout. The Ravens’ offense, meanwhile, scored the game’s first points on a Torrey Smith seven-yard TD catch.

Baltimore has also outplayed Pittsburgh in the kicking game. The Ravens have hit their two field goal tries, while the Steelers’ lone attempt never got off the ground after Shaun Suisham appeared to start his run-up to the ball too early. The attempt was aborted, and the Steelers were stopped for a loss and a turnover on downs.

Both 5-6, the Ravens and Steelers are considered prime contenders for the AFC’s final wild-card spot. To this point, Baltimore’s play in all three phases has been the difference in this important matchup.

maybe the Pittsburgh ownership should ask to stop playing primetime games in Baltimore like Harbaugh and Co. did a couple years ago.

Better than the Packers who did poor in all three faces. Everybody (casual fans) want to look at Flynn but they sucked at everything. Without Rodgers it shows just how bad their play calling can be.

Now rant aside the Ravens are gaining their chemistry with the new pieces.
