Broncos grab control in Kansas City

The Chiefs had a 14-point lead in the second quarter of their game against the Broncos, but they find themselves in a 14-point hole with 14:16 to play at Arrowhead Stadium

The Broncos have scored 28 straight points and grabbed a 35-21 lead when Peyton Manning hit Eric Decker for a one-yard touchdown to open the fourth quarter. It was Manning’s fifth touchdown pass of the night and his third of a second half that has seen the Broncos flip the game into their favor.

Manning hit Decker for a 37-yard score on the first possession of the second half and then hit Decker again for 15 yards and another score to give the Broncos their first lead of the day. Decker has four touchdowns on the night and has feasted on deep balls against a Chiefs secondary that has lost safety Kendrick Lewis to a knee injury. Manning has 349 yards on the night, pushing him past 4,000 for the year and making him the first quarterback in history with 13 seasons of 4,000 or more yards.

The Chiefs will have to stop the tide and stop it quickly to get back into this game and keep control of the AFC West from going back to Denver with the Broncos.

The Chiefs defense gave up 244 yards, IN THE 3RD QUARTER!

Wow, exposed is a compliment to that group, to think Chiefs fans were comparing them to the 85’ Bears.

I was hoping for 20 degree weather today so we could see Manning suck again in the cold. I guess we will have to wait til January.

this Cooper is just a horrendous cornerback. i cannot believe the chiefs d coordinator didnt make any adjustments. he shouldn’t be out there. Decker did nothing significant this entire year and all of a sudden he’s got 4 touchdown catches? it’s not a coincidence…Manning saw blood in the water when cooper was put out there today. pathetic effort by the cheifs secondary.

for the cheifs to start an inexperienced rookie against peyton manning is just asking for a slaughter.

cheifs won’t make the playoffs. i’ve never seen so many dropped passes that could have changed the entire game momentum. pathetic.

The house of cards is in complete collapse mode.

Can the Chiefs secure a wild card spot?

    The 85 Bears, LOL!

    I don’t think it’s fair that KC can’t play the 2nd and 3rd string QB’s every week.

Lmao! how many drops does “Avery” need for the chiefs to realize this guy is terrible too? is this just an andy reid thing? keep terrible football players on the field? wow. i cannot believe the coaching on the chiefs side.

joetoronto, if only Kansas City could have a team that has been a sub .500 team for 11 years straight.
