Dueling quarterbacks tied at halftime on SNF

The Giants and Redskins might not have good records, but the quarterbacks are playing well enough to make for an entertaining show.

With Robert Griffin III perfect early and Eli Manning responding, the Redskins and Giants are tied at 14 at halftime.

Griffin’s 16-of-17 passing for 149 yards and a touchdown (with 53 sort-of cosmetic rushing yards).

Manning’s not as dynamic on the run, but he’s 10-of-12 for 100 yards and a touchdown.

We’ll see if they can keep up their torrid pace in the second half, or whether the defenses can stiffen enough to matter.

Bob Costas find the Redskins name offensive. Not too offensive that he won’t take a check for calling tonight’s game though. Maybe he’ll donate his check to Native American causes? #phony
