Giants claw their way back into lead, 21-17

New York Giants v Washington Redskins

during their game at FedExField on December 1, 2013 in Landover, Maryland.

Rob Carr

After sleeping through the first, it has taken the Giants into the fourth quarter to take a lead.

But after a replay reviewed touchdown by running back Andre Brown, they’ve taken a 21-17 lead on the suddenly flat Redskins on Sunday Night Football.

Washington’s early momentum seems days ago, as the Redskins are frustrated on both sides of the ball, drawing penalties born out of frustration (such as Pierre Garcon kicking a dead ball into the seats).

But they were moving the ball well at some point tonight, and it’s close enough to be possible they could find it again.
