Josh Gordon putting on a show again

You can be forgiven if you’re not paying attention to today’s matchup of the Jaguars and Browns in Cleveland, maybe the worst game of the week in the NFL. But if you’re not watching, you’re missing an outstanding performance from Browns receiver Josh Gordon.

Gordon caught five passes for 111 yards and a touchdown in the first 18 minutes of the game, continuing a stunning run over the last few weeks. Last week Gordon had 237 receiving yards against the Steelers, and in just over seven quarters stretching back to the second half of the Browns’ game against the Bengals, Gordon has 425 receiving yards.

Gordon is doing it with Brandon Weeden, maybe the worst quarterback in the NFL right now, throwing him passes. Imagine what he could do if he had a halfway decent quarterback passing to him.

Calvin Johnson is the best wide receiver in the NFL. But Gordon may be the second best.

His stats have been better with Weeden this year, he some what disappeared at times with Campbell.

Not bad for a 2nd round supplemental pick, who nobody else either wanted, or thought was worth the trouble.

Yeah…he’s a Cleveland Brown. Deal with it, lesser teams.

    “It’s the Jaguars.”

He went off for over 230 on you guys! You are supposed to be one of the best pass D’s in the league?
Go ahead and say that you beat us, that’s fine. You will be enjoying January with us too.

first off – the browns are irrelevant and second having the a bunch of recieving yards in one season does not make you elite NFL wide reciever, good yes, elite no

Racking up yardage in garbage time because your team is trailing every week does not make him the second best receiver in the NFL. Maybe not even top 5.

And didn’t you notice this is the Jaguars they’re playing?

I know it’s the cool thing to blame Brandon Weeden for everything… but… Cleveland’s offensive line is an embarrassment.

Gordon has been a beast every week this whole season. Another hundred yard game doesnt suprise me at all

ADD a receiving corps that is ranked 3rd in the NFL in dropped passes with that terrible offensive line …. and…. you get one TERRIBLE OFFENSE.

No Fitzgerald is obviously the second best receiver in the league. Gordon probably isn’t even third.

Gordon is a young beast. When he becomes polished and refined. He will be a nightmare! Especially of we ever get a decent qb
