Patriots off to slow start against Texans, then Gronk

If the Patriots hadn’t just overcome a 24-point deficit to beat the Texans, you’d probably be a little more worried about them.

The Texans were off to a 10-0 lead on the Patriots, hoping to break a nine-game losing streak. But then Gronk happened, and the Patriots are back in it.

After Ben Tate opened the scoring with an 8-yard touchdown run, Patriots quarterback Tom Brady was picked off by Texans cornerback Johnathan Joseph.

The Texans followed with a field goal, giving them an early edge. The stakjes might not be as high for the Patriots this week, but it’s still a little early to panic.

Brady recovered, with a clean pocket to find Rob Gronkowski for a touchdown to cut it to 10-7 in a hurry.
