It’s just football people! This is tragic.

So has anyone in KC heard what happened ?

  5. tincansailor981 says: Dec 1, 2013 8:43 PM

Exactly why I watch at home.

  6. Sporting Nerds says: Dec 1, 2013 8:43 PM

Do we actually KNOW this was about football?

  7. jrazz22 says: Dec 1, 2013 8:47 PM

This is why I prefer to stay home and watch the games. So I don’t have to deal with the scum that attends these games, and I also don’t have to wait in line for the bathroom

and this is EXACTLY why people like to stay home. too many psychopaths that cant hold their liquor

Odds are the suspects at chief fans but the article doesn’t say so don’t jump to conclusions.

Actually, it appears to be totally unrelated to the game. Apparently a father and son went out to their vehicle during the game and found some guys rifling through it, a confrontation ensued, and the father ended up dead.

On the anniversary of the Belcher incident? Terrible.

Police sources tell KCTV5 that a man and his son had gone to their vehicle during the game. When they arrived, they found another man rifling through the vehicle and a fight broke out. The man who apparently did not belong in the vehicle died.

Person killed in parking lot in KC a non-story because it did not happen in Philly. Hey, we threw snow balls at a drunken Santa Claus over 50 years ago, now that is a story !

  15. blackngold4life says: Dec 1, 2013 8:58 PM

Sooo ..some ppl that paid to park were caught breaking into somebody else’s car? Wow

The “Stay Classy….” line is totally underused on these boards. We need to see that more often. It is more hilarious the more you read it.

Stay Classy Chiefs fans…? They just killed someone at their own stadium ? Sorry, my deepest condolensces to the family of the victim, but “stay classy Chiefs fans” does not seem appropriate at the moment

Way to provide a safe environment for fans NFL. Another reason not to go to games besides high ticket prices, low quality football, drunk belligerent fans, not to mention the great officiating

  19. truthfactory says: Dec 1, 2013 9:13 PM

Why would someone leave the game to go their car?? And what are the odds that the same guy who goes to his car also finds someone breaking in there?

The odds that both of those things happening at random are extremely slim. Something doesn’t add up

  20. bowmanj35 says: Dec 1, 2013 9:20 PM

its so strange how they’re having such a hard time filling stadiums….

  21. frank booth says: Dec 1, 2013 9:23 PM

You’re right. Nobody ever stumbles upon someone breaking into their home or their car. This conspiracy probably goes right to the steps of our capitol, or maybe deals with Soviet spies.

Get right to work on that.

  22. stevincinci says: Dec 1, 2013 9:26 PM

They’re not having trouble filling stadiums. There’s only been one blackout all year, and that was this week in San Diego. Get your facts straight.

  23. geodude11 says: Dec 1, 2013 9:27 PM

    Raider’s or Dodger’s fans.

  24. moss49thteam says: Dec 1, 2013 9:41 PM

Someone got the “full NFL” experience by actually going to the game.

My large screen HDTV, bar-co lounger, beer of my choice at regular price, no wait for a clean bathroom, free parking, NFL Ticket and RedZone watching experience has not only paid for itself…..

It has allowed me to go to work tomorrow.

  25. briang123 says: Dec 1, 2013 10:02 PM

Quick, find something to get back to talking about how bad Eagles’ fans are.

  26. rickyspanish says: Dec 1, 2013 10:08 PM

    Why does this keep happening?

“Police sources tell KCTV5 that a man and his son had gone to their vehicle during the game. When they arrived, they found another man rifling through the vehicle and a fight broke out. The man who apparently did not belong in the vehicle died.”

-So this could apparently be a act of self defense. If so then kudos to those who stood their ground. If not then it’s just another reason to enjoy the games
From the comfort of your own home.

Moss49th I’m right with you. I get any game on my computer, hook it up to the TV. Grab a brew when I want, hit the bathroom when I want, etc. Saving at least $100 by staying at home instead of going to the stadium. Probably I won’t get vomited on by a drunk fan.

  29. bruno1433 says: Dec 1, 2013 10:16 PM

What dont make sense the dad and son were probably leaving early alot of people do I see it alot and happened to find someone probably drunk breaking into thier car. The guy that broke in iss dead seams he got what was coming to him.

Perfect example of why this guy and a lot of others on here are just straight up stupid.

Much like how they like to just spew forth inaccurate stats and info because it takes too much time to actually form a thought and then actually get accurate data to back it. In this case all this genius had too do was click on the link in the article to see it had nothing to do with the game. Didn’t even have to put in the effort to google the story, just click the link. But I guess that would take away from his scholarly studies on how to best beat level 5 on Modern Warfare.

Much better to just read the headline and take the opportunity to insult a city.

  32. dmartin17 says: Dec 1, 2013 10:30 PM

Don’t be assuming it has anything to do with football. Easily could just alcohol fueled, or gang realted.

  33. magicmtndan says: Dec 1, 2013 10:42 PM

Gotta love the NFL and their desire to protect players and fans in the stands.

Hey Goodell, how about doing something about people drinking their asses off in the parking lot under the guise of tailgating?!

  34. bensstinkyfingers says: Dec 1, 2013 10:55 PM

Hey kids, let this be a lesson, crime doesn’t pay, and sometimes can get you dead if you commit a crime against the wrong person on the wrong day. My condolences however, to the scumbags family.
