There was a rush of compassion for defensive tackle Kyle Love, after the Patriots released him upon learning of a diagnosis of Type 2 diabetes.
But he hasn’t been able to keep another job since then, either.
The Chiefs announced they were cutting Love, to make room for nose tackle Jerrel Powe on the 53-man roster.
The Chiefs signed him two weeks ago, after he spent training camp with the Jaguars but was released the day after final cuts.
They can now line Powe up behind Dontari Poe on the depth chart just to confuse everybody.
