Broncos get Thomas, Rodgers-Cromartie back on field

Julius Thomas AP

The Broncos got some good news on both sides of the ball Thursday.

According to Mike Klis of the Denver Post, both tight end Julius Thomas (knee) and cornerback Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie were full participants in Thursday’s practice.

Thomas has missed two games, as the Broncos handle him carefully. And with multiple receiving threats (as evidenced by Eric Decker’s outburst last week)

Rodgers-Cromartie was inactive last week after injuring himself diving for a Hail Mary against the Patriots. His absence coincided with the Patriots’ comeback in the second half, and getting him back on the field will help stabilize a secondary that’s looked shaky at points.

The Broncos are a heck of a lot better team with Thomas and DRC on the field. It was obvious they really missed both of them against the Patriots in that second half.

Denver being better than Seattle is questionable, especially if they are playing at Seattle. Would be a great battle to see.

They will lose when it matters anyway no matter who they have on the field

    “Lose when it matters”?!?

You mean to tell me that only certain games “matter”, and some of them don’t?

Every game matters a great deal.

Especially BOTH games against the Chiefs. They had a lot riding on them as far as the division goes, and especially for home field advantage in the playoffs.
