Kevin Zeitler questionable for Sunday’s game vs. Colts

The news is mostly good for the Bengals on the injury front entering Sunday’s matchup with Indianapolis.

Outside linebacker Vontaze Burfict (ankle), tight end Tyler Eifert (knee), wide receiver A.J. Green (groin), wide receiver Andrew Hawkins (hamstring), cornerback Adam Jones (hip) and left tackle Andrew Whitworth (calf) put in full practices Friday and are listed as probable on the injury report. Long-snapper Clark Harris (illness) is also probable, but he was held out of practice Friday.

Right guard Kevin Zeitler (foot) is the lone player listed as questionable. He went through a limited practice Friday. Mike Pollak has started the last two games in place of Zeitler, whom the Bengals selected in the first round in the 2012 draft.

Zeitler (6-4, 315) has started all 26 regular-season games in which he’s played for Cincinnati, which has a two-game lead in the AFC North with four games left to play.

Hold him out another game, and let him get healthy for the playoffs. Mike Pollack proved he is a good back up, and when the Bengals moved Whitworth to guard, and brought in one of the best back up tackles in the league in Anthony Collins, it was the best the Bengals line has looked in a while.

When he comes back, I’d like to see Pollack back to the bench, and keep Whit at left guard. Play your best 11 Bengals, we’re gonna need that running game in the playoffs.

270 rushing yards in the past two games w/o Zeitler (against the 5th and 21st ranked RUSH Defense).

    Let the kid rest.

Cincy chose Zeitler over David DeCastro last year because they prefer lineman that don’t injure their own teammates.

    Cold Weather Super Bowl.

Won’t matter, Bengals have 0% chance of winning this game. I bet one of them gets arrested before kickoff.

I wonder is any of the Bengals Superbowl trophy will be on display before that game? …….. Oh they have never won one? My mistake.

Let him rest….Collins would start for most teams so I agree that moving Whit inside during the playoffs….Boilings’ injury just might have some positive consequences

PLEASE let him rest and heal.
