Chiefs humiliating the Redskins, 31-0 in second

Kansas City Chiefs v Washington Redskins

at FedExField on December 8, 2013 in Landover, Maryland.

Rob Carr

At least they’re consistent. The Redskins are a mess on the field too.

Even though a Chiefs defensive touchdown was taken off the board on a replay review (rightfully so), the Redskins didn’t get to enjoy it long.

The subsequent punt was taken back 74 yards for a touchdown by Dexter McCluster, giving the Chiefs a 31-0 lead midway through the second quarter. Jamaal Charles has a pair of touchdowns for the Chiefs, and this one has turned into a grease fire.

The Redskins can’t run or pass, and the Chiefs are looking sharp in all three phases.

The Redskins look like a team that has rolled over. And given all the drama that’s happening before (and after) this one, the result has become a moot point.
