Vikings running back Adrian Peterson was attended to by the club’s medical personnel in Sunday’s game at Baltimore after apparently sustaining an injury on a third-down play in the second quarter.

According to the Fox telecast, Peterson may have an ankle injury.

Peterson was seen walking on the Vikings’ sideline and moving his right leg as if to test it. Then, he got onto a motorized cart, ostensibly to be taken inside for further tests.

The Ravens lead the Vikings 7-0 in snowy conditions in Baltimore.

UPDATE 2:14 p.m. EST: Per Fox’s Jennifer Hale, Peterson was to have X-rays, and his right foot had a sandal on it, not a cleat. However, Hale reported that Peterson is able to walk on his own.
