The biggest names on the inactive list for the Giants on Sunday are defensive end Jason Pierre-Paul and cornerback Corey Webster, but we knew they were ruled out before the game.

Running back Brandon Jacobs’ status was less clear. Jacobs made the trip across the country to San Diego with the team after being listed as doubtful to play because of a knee injury. Jacobs missed last week’s victory over Washington as well and Peyton Hillis will serve as Andre Brown’s backup against the Chargers on Sunday.

Quarterback Ryan Nassib, linebacker Allen Bradford, guard Stephen Goodin and tight end Adrien Robinson are also inactive for the Giants.

The Chargers will go without quarterback Brad Sorensen, wide receiver Lavelle Hawkins, cornerback Crezdon Butler, safety Brandon Taylor, offensive lineman Steve Schilling, tackleKenny Wiggins and defensive tackle Kwame Geathers.
