The Packers’ early lead against Atlanta has disappeared.

The Falcons, on the strength of two TD passes from quarterback Matt Ryan, have taken a 14-10 second-quarter advantage in Green Bay.

First, Ryan connected with Drew Davis on a 36-yard score to tie the game at seven. Then, after Falcons safety William Moore forced a Matt Flynn fumble recovered by defensive lineman Malliciah Goodman deep in Green Bay territory, Ryan hit tight end Tony Gonzalez for a one-yard TD pass to give Atlanta a 14-7 lead.

On the second touchdown, Ryan made a wonderful play-fake and found Gonzalez open in the endzone. For Gonzalez, it was the 109th regular-season TD catch in a Hall of Fame career.

The Packers would cut into Atlanta’s lead with a 40-yard Mason Crosby field goal with less than four minutes left in the first half.
