Saints go up 14-6 on Panthers

Drew Brees, Charles Johnson AP

After a half of play, Panthers safety Mike Mitchell probably doesn’t think Drew Brees is “soft” any longer.

The Saints have gone up 14-6 over the Panthers in the second quarter, cashing in with touchdowns where the Panthers have settled for field goals.

After taking the lead with a nine-play, 80-yard touchdown drive, the Saints just tacked on another Marques Colston touchdown.

After an early three-and-out, Brees has caught fire, 11-of-15 passing for 107 yards and two scores.

The Panthers haven’t been able to get any pressure on him, and he’s picking apart a secondary that plays hard, but isn’t talented enough to match up with his multiple weapons.

Who am I kidding… The Vikings are completely inept and will never win a super bowl. We should just defunct to the WNBA where we may have a chance.

The panthers have peaked I said this many times they were dominate to early in the season. The have D so they’ll always be in he game but offensively they seem to have peaked to early barely and luckily winning games as of late. A win is a win but unless you respond well to adversity with injuries eventually it will catch up to you.
