Cowboys, Bears offenses are hot in cold Chicago

earlbennett AP

It’s a cold Monday night in Chicago, but both offenses are heating up.

Dallas got the game started with a 12-play, 75-yard drive that included some big running by DeMarco Murray and ended with a two-yard touchdown pass from Tony Romo to Dez Bryant. It was a great drive that looked like it was going to start a long night for the Bears.

But Chicago’s offense came right back with a 12-play drive of its own, covering 78 yards and culminating with a four-yard touchdown pass from Josh McCown to Earl Bennett.

And after holding the Cowboys’ offense, the Bears got the ball again and marched down the field on a 10-play, 65-yard drive that ended with McCown leaping into the end zone at the end of a seven-yard run.

Much like we saw on Sunday, there’s a lot of good football being played in the cold.

The final score is going to be 41-40. But watch out for 16-14.

Six rings: that’s what’s important. No one else can say that. You are all flickers in our immense shadow.

The Steelers have six rings. I wish we had more like the Bears, Giants, or Packers. But six is still okay.

Is it me or do the cowboys only throw routes 10 yards or less. The run was working then we get stupid and stop. I don’t know why they want to keep putting these db’s on the field.

    The CowBabies defense sucks.

As an Eagle fan, I love Da Bears tonight.

Well, maybe Dallas still has a chance to win the SEC even with a loss. Wait a minute, I’m not watching the SEC? Sure looks like the pathetic defenses in that conference on display tonight.

Not so fast Bears….your defense is equally putrid.

Well, at least I can start playing golf on Sundays. I’ll pick up my Cowboys next season. This was must win…..and they are being beat like a HS team.

There you go again, sittin the fence so you can’t be wrong. “Team X is going to win, but they might lose”

    phillyphannnn83:

    It’s supposed to be funny.

It’s a twisting of a famous Field of Dreams line, that’s why I said it like that. Ray Liotta says the next pitch is for sure going to be low and outside, but then he second guesses himself and says but still look out for inside your ear! The young player has a look like gee thanks for that Mr. Legend!

Also what’s wrong with putting myself in a position to never be wrong? That’s called STRATEGY!
