Reggie Bush questionable for Monday night

Six days ago, Lions running back Reggie Bush was ready to go in Philly despite a Thanksgiving Day calf injury.  Until Bush slipped on the snowy field in Philly.

With the Lions preparing to host the Ravens on Monday night, Bush is officially questionable to play.

Also questionable is rookie defensive end Ziggy Ansah, who has a shoulder injury.  Both Ansah and Bush missed practice on Thursday and participated on a limited basis on Friday and Saturday.

A pair of cornerbacks are doubtful.  Chris Houston has a toe injury, and Darius Slay has a knee injury.  Neither have practiced this week.

The good news for Detroit from an injury standpoint is that receiver Calvin Johnson is probable with a knee injury that has bothered him all year long.

Despite a perception for not being durable, Bush has missed only two games this year.  On Monday night, that number could go to three.

Houston has been nothing more than average this year. Reggie being out we can live with but Ansah is the player I’m really worried about not playing.

What a coincidence, I just read a report that Linehan thinks LeShoure has a bright future ahead of him. All of a sudden he went from dud to super prospect. Amazing how that works.

    hyzers:

With Flacco’s contract size, I expect him to shred Houston into unemployment. He’s easy to expose lately.

Is Reggie Bush older than Calvin Johnson or does it just seem that way?

Lions have no business trying to run Reggie up the middle… Wasted Down on two is what Stafford calls in the huddle, then you see Reggie getting stuffed in the middle of the line. They are a passing team, so pass the ball and stop trying to protect a lead… Keep the pedal down and run up the score. God knows your defense isn’t stopping anyone.

“Despite a perception for not being durable, “….a perception?????????? Guess this is a case of where perception really is reality.

Megatron is going to light up that D and Elam. Stafford will give him 15 targets. 8 catches 160 yds and 2 tds.

Lions play well on MNF and when an opponent trash talks them usually they play angry…Ravens probably get blown out and Calvin will shred Mr. elam and jimmy smith.
