A hamstring injury that kept Jaguars running back Maurice Jones-Drew out of practice all week will also keep him out of Sunday’s game against the Bills.

Jones-Drew is among the Jaguars’ inactive players, the club announced this morning.

Jones-Drew paces Jacksonville in carries (208), rushing yards (719) and rushing touchdowns (five).

Jordan Todman could step in as the Jaguars’ featured back, with rookie Denard Robinson in reserve.

As was expected, leading receiver Cecil Shorts (groin) is also inactive for the Jaguars. Ace Sanders and Mike Brown could be the Jaguars’ primary wide receivers in his absence.

Safety Jonathan Cyprien, defensive tackle Brandon Deaderick, guard/center Will Rackley, tight end Allen Reisner and quarterback Ricky Stanzi round out the Jaguars’ inactives.
