Sheldon Richardson touchdown run gets Jets back in

For the Panthers, going for fourth downs is nothing new.

But when their last one failed, it gave the Jets a spark.

Taking a bit of momentum from their defense making a stop, the Jets drove the length of the field, and let Sheldon Richardson run it twice at the goal line. He scored on the second attempt to cut the Panthers’ lead to 16-13 in the third quarter.

It was a shocking drive for the Jets, who actually looked coherent as an offense. But letting the big defensive tackle score the touchdown seems appropriate.

You know it’s sad when the better Richardson RB is Sheldon…

    And he’s a defensive tackle.

The Captain pick 6. Destroyed the Giants now whipping the Jets. Go home drama queens (Holmes). We play ball in NC.

When we failed on 4th down, I had a feeling the Jets would score a TD. I was also confident we would get the win, because I didn’t think the Jets were going to have enough offense. Of course it turned out to be our special teams and defense that sealed the deal.

Jets fans – I think you have a good coach. You really need more offensive playmakers to get to the next level.
