Sheldon Richardson touchdown run gets Jets back in

For the Panthers, going for fourth downs is nothing new.

But when their last one failed, it gave the Jets a spark.

Taking a bit of momentum from their defense making a stop, the Jets drove the length of the field, and let Sheldon Richardson run it twice at the goal line. He scored on the second attempt to cut the Panthers’ lead to 16-13 in the third quarter.

It was a shocking drive for the Jets, who actually looked coherent as an offense. But letting the big defensive tackle score the touchdown seems appropriate.
