If the Cowboys beat the Redskins on Sunday, the Week 17 game between Dallas and Philadelphia determines a playoff berth.

Which also makes Sunday night’s game between the Bears and Eagles meaningless for the Eagles.

Which could tempt the Eagles to sit their starters in advance of a Week 17 winner-take-all game Third Annual NFC East Championship Game. But they won’t.

Coach Chip Kelly told reporters on Monday that he’ll play his starters, if the Cowboys win earlier in the day.

Whether Kelly plays his starters for the entire game will be a different issue, especially if the Eagles fall behind and it’s time to start thinking about getting ready for the regular-season finale.
