A calf injury has ended the season of Steelers linebacker LaMarr Woodley.

The Steelers announced today that Woodley has been placed on injured reserve after he suffered an injury to his right calf in Sunday’s win over the Bengals.

This is Woodley’s second calf injury of the year; he previously missed three games with a left calf injury.

Woodley had started all 11 games he played this season and is second on the team with five sacks.

The Steelers signed linebacker Jamaal Westerman, who was cut by the Bills last week, to take Woodley’s place on the roster.
