The Bears can win the NFC North title by winning their two remaining games and have a date with the Eagles on Sunday night in Philadelphia, a state of affairs that might cause some to feel pressured.

Quarterback Jay Cutler says he isn’t part of that group. Cutler admitted that he felt a lot of pressure heading into last week’s game against the Browns because of the fallout related to the decision to start him over Josh McCown that would accompany a loss in his return to the lineup, but says that he feels relaxed for this week’s game.

“I do,” Cutler said, via the Chicago Sun-Times. “Last week was a tough week with everything surrounding it, the implications of the game, if we did lose the game, having to walk into the media room and deal with you guys if we did lose. All those things weigh on you. So being able to move on from that, I think this week is a tougher week gameplan-wise for us, but we should be up for the challenge Sunday.”

The Eagles have had a considerably better year than the Browns, but they have struggled against the pass and the Bears are well positioned to exploit that weakness this Sunday. If they can do that often enough to win, we’ll get a chance to find out how they handle the pressure of playing in a game that can send them to the playoffs in Week 17.
