Sean Lee hopes there’s a reason to come back next week

The good news for the Cowboys is that linebacker Sean Lee says that his injured neck is feeling considerably better.

The bad news is that it isn’t doing well enough for Lee to play against the Redskins this week and a Cowboys loss will make a return in Week 17 a moot point if the Eagles beat the Bears. Lee has been ruled out of Sunday’s game and said Friday that his goal is to be on the field in Week 17.

“The symptoms have improved dramatically,” Lee said, via ESPNDallas.com. “If I can move forward and make another jump next week hopefully I can get back.”

Lee wasn’t expected to play this week, but his absence will still be a painful one for the Cowboys to overcome. They’ll also be playing without wide receiver Dwayne Harris, who has a hamstring injury. Linebacker Ernie Sims and cornerback Morris Claiborne are both listed as doubtful, although Claiborne said earlier this week that he won’t play.

Cornerback Brandon Carr, defensive tackle Jason Hatcher, defensive end DeMarcus Ware and linebacker Bruce Carter are all probable for the Cowboys, who may not be as shorthanded on defense as some feared earlier this week.

Good thing Dallas’ team doctors aren’t the Packers, or he wouldn’t be cleared to play until opening day 2015.

He’ll hopefully be back so he can get hurt again.

Yea, good luck with that…. Just shut it down Lee, no sense in taking the risk.

There isn’t a good reason sean….rest up, get healthy, and eventually look to sign with a team that can get you a ring. The boys are always going to always fall just short.

He wants to prove he’s not injury prone. A lil late for thy lee!

This is anti-climatic because the national holiday “Tony Romo Choke Day” came early this year. It’s like Christmas songs in January.
