Report: Giants’ Will Hill arrested

willhill AP

Giants safety Will Hill was reportedly arrested on Friday night.

Ralph Vacchiano of the New York Daily News reports that Hill was arrested last night in New Jersey on a warrant related to child support. Hill made the trip to Detroit with the team and is expected to play on Sunday against the Lions.

Hill’s checkered history includes a four-game suspension last year for violating the NFL’s performance-enhancing substance policy and a four-game suspension this year for violating the NFL’s substance-abuse policy. He was arrested in 2011 for driving on a suspended license, and in 2012 the Star-Ledger reported that Hill’s wife had told police that Hill struck her during an argument, although charges were not filed.

According to the Star-Ledger, Hill says he has two children with his estranged wife and two with other women. There is no word about which of the children is involved with this child support matter.

    Vasectomy.

    Cheaper than child support.

    Much cheaper, and no drama.

You might want to rethink things when your reply to “your getting arrested for failure to pay child support” is, “which kid?”

The league ought to focus on real criminals like violent felons…

This substance abuse **** is punished harder than a felony.

Given the caliber of woman that Hill probably hangs out with, I’d insist on paternity tests before I start paying child support.

its usually a garnishment taken out of a persons paycheck automatically. the state levies the charge and usually sends the paperwork to the employer. i happn to work for the company that does the payroll for the giants and many other sports teams. its not neccessarily the fault of the person.

It’s funny how things play out with professional athletes. Over the summer a video of Riley Cooper using the n-word was the talk of the league. Sports news and national news shows discussed the event. Some players said they could never be his teammate. Then you have this “man” being arrested for failure to take financial responsibility for his kids. If he isn’t paying, you know he’s not spending fatherly time with his children. Yet, no one will make a big deal out of this. In fact, it will probably receive 10 seconds of attention on the pregame shows. A court decided how much he has to pay to the mother of his children and his refusal lead to his arrest. I hope he has explosive diarrhoea during the game. For those of you wondering his baby-to-baby mama ratio is 2-1.

Most NFL meatheads wait until they are OUT of playing- career-time prior to going broke. This chump has “broken The NFL destitute speed record.” Now THAT is quite a feat, even by pro footballer IQ! Perhaps “Bad Moon” Rison can present the trophy at an I-Hop some morning soon…Won’t be a wet eye in the place.

  41. jacobk621 says: Dec 21, 2013 8:22 PM

The league outta consider doing a prime time special edition of the “Maury” show where you have players being sued for paternity results , “you are the father” or “you are not the father” , it would get great ratings !!

Sadly just another player that is an alum of the Florida Gators. Riley Cooper, Aaron Hernandez, The Pouncey Twins….. and now you can add Will Hill to that list.

If Hill has trouble paying child support now while he’s making big money playing in the NFL, just wait until the dope retires and the money train moves on without him.

I didn’t realize how many times this guy has gotten in trouble, but of course another team picks him up.
