Chiefs take 7-0 lead on a Jamaal Charles TD run

In his apparent ongoing quest to eventually run for public office on the strength of the fantasy football vote, a 31-yard TD run from Chiefs tailback Jamaal Charles has given Kansas City a 7-0 early first-quarter lead against Indianapolis.

Charles’ touchdown was his 11th in Kansas City’s last five games. It capped a four-play, 59-yard drive lasting less than two minutes.

For the Colts, it was yet another poor start — a problem that has marked their season. Meanwhile, the Chiefs’ offense picked up right where it left off after high-scoring wins at Washington and Oakland.
