Eagles cruising tonight, flexed into next Sunday night

Chicago Bears v Philadelphia Eagles

At this rate, the Eagles might start sitting starters for next week, although they’ll have a few extra hours of rest anyway.

The Bears are offering little resistance tonight, and the Eagles have cruised to a 24-3 halftime lead.

But things will hopefully be tighter next week, which is why the Eagles and Cowboys have been flexed into the final episode of Sunday Night Football for the season.

The NFC East title and home playoff game will go to the winner, and it has to offer more intrigue than tonight’s game.

The Bears can’t keep quarterback Jay Cutler on his feet, which has rendered them without apparent hope after the Eagles raced out to a 21-0 lead in the first quarter.
