The season officially came to an end for Denver Broncos linebacker Von Miller as he was placed on injured reserve Tuesday.

Miller suffered a torn ACL in Sunday’s win over the Houston Texans.

In Miller’s place, the Broncos have signed linebacker Brandon Marshall from the practice squad. Marshall appeared in five games for the Jacksonville Jaguars after being selected in the fifth round of the 2012 draft.

Marshall recorded two tackles for the Jaguars last season.

The team also added receiver Nathan Palmer to their practice squad in Marshall’s place.

Brandon Marshall…kind of like how the Bears had an Adrian Peterson a few years ago.

The Broncos should move Marshall to WR and try trading him in the offseason…some team out there might fall for it.

It must be one of Brandon’s multiple personalities.

No, No, No, NO dunderheads! Not that Brandon Marshall. The Broncos linebacker Brandon Marshall is not the Bears wide receiver Brandon Marshall. Same name, different guy. The Bears Brandon Marshall, other wise known as Brandon “Why are they throwing the ball to that other guy?” Marshall, is still playing in Chicago with another former Bronco, Jay “Ooh, I hurt my ankle; can I come out now?” Cutler. The two of them make a great pair; a pair of what, I don’t know. (Please insert your joke or comment here). Bears are no longer the old
“The Monsters of the Midway”…more like
    “The Pretenders of Papa Bear”.
