Colts promote a pair from practice squad

The Colts filled a pair of roster spots by promoting two of their own from the practice squad.

The team announced that defensive tackle Jeris Pendleton and cornerback Sheldon Price have been added to the 53-man roster. They also added center Thomas Austin, defensive end Jake McDonough and running back Tauren Poole to the practice squad.

Pendleton played in four games for the Jaguars last year, and was added to the Colts practice squad in early December. Because he’s a defensive lineman, he also spent time in Cowboys camp this offseason.

Price originally signed with the Colts as an undrafted rookie from UCLA.

Despite the injuries, the Colts seem to be hitting their stride at the right time of the year.
