Cowboys wide receiver Dez Bryant popped up on the injury report as a limited participant in practice because of a back issue, adding an injury concern that the Cowboys really don’t need with quarterback Tony Romo and linebacker Sean Lee already ailing.
Bryant was limited again in practice on Thursday, catching a few passes in the early portion of practice before heading to the back with the team’s trainers. According to Bryant, though, there’s no reason to worry that he’ll miss a game that will decide the NFC East champion.
Calvin Watkins of ESPNDallas.com reports that Bryant said there was “no doubt” that he’ll be in the lineup against the Eagles. Bryant said he first hurt the back during the victory over the Redskins last weekend and that he will see a specialist whenever the season ends in hopes of coming up with a solution to a recurring problem.
Having Bryant in the lineup is obviously a positive for the Cowboys, but the injuries elsewhere on the roster are still going to make for a difficult task for the Cowboys this Sunday.
