Three Steelers starters miss practice

Of the nine players listed on the Steelers’ injury report Thursday, three are starters who did not participate in the next-to-last practice of the regular season.

Wide receiver Emmanuel Sanders (knee), right guard David DeCastro (back) and outside linebacker Jason Worilds (abdomen) were among the four players who didn’t practice on Thursday. Reserve linebacker Terence Garvin (knee) also didn’t work out.

Worilds leads the Steelers in sacks (eight). Sanders is second on the club in targets (106), catches (65) and receiving yards (714). DeCastro, meanwhile, has started all but one game this season.

Every other player on the Pittsburgh injury report practiced fully, including defensive end Brett Keisel (foot).

The Steelers need a victory against the Browns on Sunday and losses by Baltimore, Miami and San Diego to make the postseason.

Even at 7-8 they still are in the playoff hunt in the last week

Steelers could play with 8 on both sides of the ball and still win. Heck, that might have made the game competitive against the pathetic Bengals a few weeks back instead of the massacre it was.

I get the impression bengals fans are more excited about the steelers not getting in than they are about Cin getting in. I guess another one-and-done from anyone would be better than another in a long line of beatings at the hand of their big brother.

That was a war in Green Bay

The steelers don’t need these 3 guys to beat the browns. They’ll win and then watch as the dolphins, ravens and chargers all falter.

Does it matter, at this point (for the Browns)?

Indians, Cavaliers, and Browns…man, it’s tough being a Cleveland native and a sports fan.

    It’s payback time…

    Go Browns!

The Bungles are tired of us beating them up and winning. Their SB is to win a playoff game.

The Bungles on the road this playoffs will bring a smile to my face.

Yea, good luck Sleelers- NOT gonna happen!

This is the first time I responded to anything like this but let me drop some words of wisdom. First, Steeler fans you need to be more humble and stop sounding like Yankee fans. Second, all you bungal, black bird fans you need to recognize the superior franchise wears black and gold. These are just facts! Now, lets get lucky on Sunday and shock the world!

    Brick hands Sanders=no loss.

Ravens beat Bungles and watch Jets do what the Bills did to Tannehill.

I hope Steelers, Dolphins and Ravens lose early. Then watch the Chargers choke and Ravens get in at 8-8. Perfect.
