The 49ers offense has found some stronger footing during the team’s five-game winning streak, but they’ll have to keep it going without wide receiver Mario Manningham.

Manningham was placed on injured reserve Friday, shortly after coach Jim Harbaugh announced that he would miss the season finale against the Cardinals. Harbaugh said, via Cam Inman of the Bay Area News Group, that Manningham would consult with doctors about his knee and “do what’s in best interest of his career.”

Manningham started the year on the PUP list because of a torn ACL suffered near the end of the 2012 season. Manningham played in six games, made three starts and caught nine passes for 85 yards. Michael Crabtree and Anquan Boldin will remain the top two receivers for San Francisco with Jon Baldwin and Quinton Patton behind them on the depth chart.

That will be the receiving group trying to get the 49ers a win they could use to vault to a division title if the Rams can beat the Seahawks on Sunday.
