The Pro Bowl announcement is at 9 p.m. Eastern tonight, but the first small batch of invitees has come to light.

According to John McClain of the Houston Chronicle, Texans defensive end J.J. Watt and wide receiver Andre Johnson have each been voted to the Pro Bowl.

Watt, 24, is one of the NFL’s best defensive linemen. He’s notched 71 tackles and 9.5 sacks in 15 games for Houston this season.

Johnson, 32, has hauled in 103 passes for 1,358 yards and five touchdowns in 2013. He’s exceeded 100 catches for the second time in as many seasons and the fifth time in his career.

McClain reports three Texans are Pro Bowl alternates: cornerback Johnathan Joseph, center Chris Myers and left tackle Duane Brown.

With a loss Sunday to Tennessee, the Texans (2-13) will clinch the No. 1 overall pick — a rather remarkable turn of events, given some of the talent on hand.
