This will not have the same impact as signing Robbie Gould did.

Now all that’s left is Tillman, Jennings, Melton, Williams, Anderson and likely Cutler and/or McCown. Though Williams is likely gone as is one qb.

Of the week one defensive starters, only Peppers, Paea, Briggs and Conte are under contract next year. Wholesale changes coming, as Conte and Peppers (too much $$$) should both be released and Briggs only has a year left on his deal. Cutler, Garza and the left guard are up for new deals too.

    Wish Dallas would’ve kept him

I hope Slauson is next. It’s important they keep the line intact and he was a solid addition.

I agree that Matt Slauson needs to be re-signed…This o-line could be solid for years to come, although Garza will eventually be put out to pasture.

Signing a fullback to a contract extension. How 80’s can you get when the team has so many holes to fill and with a new coach who took the team in the wrong direction.

All the posts about a new D coordinator, injuires and bad ref ‘s calls will follow but the Bears are in a really bad spot. Not as bad like Houston, teh Jags, the Lions, or the Vikings, but not like Denver, KC, the Patriots or even Green Bay. Just headed for another not great and not a total disaster in 2014 with the same issues about when a real change is coming.

In Chicago the only thing that will bring real change is empty seats at Soldiers field.
