The Arizona Cardinals need a win, and need the Saints to lose, to make the playoffs. So far it’s not looking good.
The 49ers have jumped out to an early 10-0 lead at Arizona, and meanwhile the Saints are beating the Buccaneers. It’s not a good start for the Cardinals.
Arizona went three-and-out on its opening offensive possession, and then the 49ers had an eight-play, 53-yard drive that ended with a 27-yard field goal that gave the 49ers a 3-0 lead.
On Arizona’s second possession, 49ers linebacker NaVorro Bowman intercepted Carson Palmer, and on the subsequent 49ers possession Colin Kaepernick hit Anquan Boldin in the end zone to give the 49ers a 10-0 lead.
So far, the fans in Arizona aren’t seeing what they want to see.
