Much to the relief of the Chargers, there will be overtime football in San Diego on Sunday afternoon.

With a chance to give the Chiefs a three-point lead in the final seconds, Kansas City kicker Ryan Succop’s 41-yard field goal sailed wide right.

As a result, the Chargers and Chiefs ended regulation deadlocked at 24 apiece.

A win or tie will put the Chargers in the postseason as a wild-card entrant.

The Chargers will get the ball first in overtime.
