The Patriots promoted a pair of defensive backs from the practice squad on Saturday and they deactivated two from the active roster on Sunday.

Safety Devin McCourty and cornerback Alfonzo Dennard are both inactive for New England’s regular season finale against the Bills. McCourty was expected to miss the game after suffering a concussion last week while Dennard was listed as questionable with a knee injury. Justin Green and Kanorris Davis are both active as the Patriots try to sew up their first-round bye.

Left tackle Nate Solder, wide receiver Kenbrell Thompkins and defensive end Rob Ninkovich are also active after being listed as questionable. Defensive tackle Isaac Sopoaga, linebacker Steve Beauharnais, guard Chris Barker, defensive end Jake Bequette and wide receiver Josh Boyce are also inactive for New England.

Quarterback E.J. Manuel and wide receiver were ruled out during the week for Buffalo. Wide receiver Cordell Roberson, running back Ronnie Wingo, cornerback Brandon Smith, offensive lineman Antoine McClain and guard Mark Asper round out the list of inactives.
