Eagles up 10-0 on Cowboys for final playoff berth

It hasn’t been the shootout some were expecting, given the Eagles’ preferred pace and the Cowboys’ horrific defense.

But after the way today has gone, there’s little doubt it’s far from over.

The Eagles lead 10-0 early in the second quarter, with the last playoff berth on the line.

After an early DeMarco Murray fumble, the Eagles put a field goal on the board. But that almost counts as a stop the way the Cowboys are playing defense lately.

Cowboys quarterback Kyle Orton is playing efficiently, completing his first seven passes and keeping the clock moving. At this point, that gives them a chance, though he’ll need to hurry.

Nick Foles just hit LeSean McCoy for a quick touchdown pass, so the pressure’s on Orton to make a play soon.

The cowboys defense cant compete on a legit level no matter what their offense manages to do. I have no love for the eagles, but for NFL fans who are looking for competitive games in the playoffs, the boys need to get knocked out tonight. They are a very bad football team.

Saints at Eagles. Some great NFC matchups on the way. Unfortunately the same can’t be said for the AFC.

Kyle ‘dink and dunk’ Orton is the king of the five yard pass.

Eagles win 45-10 tonight, and have a good chance to go far in the playoffs. Hope we get to see Kitna play tonight.

The Sheagles may very well win tonight but…..1960. That is all.

Win or lose it just doesn’t matter until JJ hires a GM who hires a coach who hires his staff…like successful teams do it. JJ is the Harold Ballard of the NFL.

JJ, would any other team hire you as their GM?

JJ, would you keep a GM with same track record as you?

I still pull for the ‘boys but do so with one foot in the car. Scott Pioli did a good job getting talent for KC as witnessed by their performance today with backups. He’s available but it won’t happen.
