Saints up 28-14 at halftime as Brees is going nuts

The Saints appear on their way to securing their playoff berth, but it might be harder for them to play this way outside in the elements next week.

The Saints are up 28-14 over the Buccaneers at halftime, as Drew Brees has thrown for 321 yards and four touchdown passes already.

He’s hit scoring strikes of 44, 10, 41 and 76 yards so far, and there are few signs the Bucs can stop him.

The short one of the lot was to tight end Jimmy Graham in the first quarter.

It was Graham’s 16th touchdown pass of the season, putting him one behind Rob Gronkowski’s record of 17 for a tight end.

This one’s moving toward the point where he might get some rest in the second half before he can get that record, however.

Too bad he’s going to get bounced out of the playoffs by an NFC West team again.

The calls in this game are INSANEly home cookin (always like this in the stuperdome). Its also crazy how the Aints are showboating and gloating like this is the Superbowl. You are playing a 4 win team and the refs are handing you the game. Sit down, shut up and think about the last two weeks when you played decent teams and got served.

The Bucs need to sign someone in that secondary. This is embarrassing…

They signed enough in that so called no fly zone Swiss cheese secondary.

It’s funny how many people were hoping the saints would lose. Must’ve ruined their new year.

Keep doubting the Saints. They’ll show all of you haters.
