Now, the Steelers are left to be the biggest Chiefs fans you could ever imagine.
With a 20-7 win vs. Cleveland on Sunday in Pittsburgh, the Steelers remain in the hunt for the final wild-card spot in the AFC.
The competition for the No. 6 seed is down to San Diego and Pittsburgh with Miami and Baltimore losing this afternoon. If the Chargers defeat Kansas City on Sunday, they will make the playoffs. If they lose, the Steelers are back in the postseason for the first time since 2011.
The Steelers (8-8) scored the game’s first 20 points and never looked back in sweeping the season series against Cleveland. Quarterback Ben Roethlisberger threw for 179 yards with one TD and two interceptions, while tailback Le’Veon Bell added 90 yards rushing and a TD on 20 carries.
The Browns finished their season 4-12, and they finished it with speculation about coach Rob Chudzinski’s future after just one season on the job.
