We finally get a decent pick this year, drafting in the 20′s and 30′s every year takes its toll.

Robert Griffin is better than every single player in this draft and you all know it. I’m glad the Redskins did the trade. RedskinsNation will have the last laugh at the end of the RGIII Era in 14 years with many championships. #HTTR

Paying $20 million a year for a QB who throws more INT’s than TD’s takes it toll too.

Mock Draft Expert can officially start making things up and wasting everybody’s time.

That’s what happens when you have a fire sale to pay for your “ELITE” QB. Worked out great, didn’t it? Well it did for Joe, anyway. The rest – meh.

Yet it doesn’t seem to hurt New England. Have fun fielding a team with that albatross of a QB contract you have down in Balti.

The Pats always draft in the 20s and 30s and they have managed 13 straight winning seasons.

Since Flacco took over, the Ravens and Patriots have both been to the playoffs five of six years, Flacco has more wins, and the Ravens (not the Patriots) have won a Super Bowl.

With Tucker at K, or if Lee Evans had a pair of hands, it would have been two Super Bowls.

We (Green Bay) still draft in the 20′s and 30′s. Been that way for most of twenty years now. Oh well. Hope it keeps happening.

I thought the Steelers were in the playoffs. Maybe during the draft Tomlin can walk in front of Goodell when he announces the picks.

Ooooh, that’s insult to injury to Skins fans.
As an Eagles fan I love Daniel Snyder and Jerry Jones!!!

Flacco (or his contract) are not the problem in Baltimore. It’s the O-Line. Losing Birk was a huge loss that no one addressed. Get them a Center and Left Guard and we’d have seen a better Flacco and Ray Rice.

  15. donttrip22 says: Dec 30, 2013 10:56 AM

I cant imagine another team being so ignorant like the redskins and giving up so much for a bust like RGIII in this years draft

    ———————————————————

Or lets more accurately compare each QB’s first 6 years.

    Brady – Made playoffs 5 of 6 years, 12 wins, 3 Superbowl’s, 2 SuperBowl MVP’s, 6 playoff game winning drives

Flacco – Made playoffs 5 of 6 years, 9 wins, 1 Super Bowl, 1 Super Bowl MVP, 1 playoff game winning drive

It’s good the Skins don’t have that No. 2 pick – it would take up cap space they could waste on an overpriced, over the hill free agent.

Yeah, considering the year Eli Manning had, no wonder the Giants struggled as much as they did. He definitely did not live up to his $20 million cap number.

  19. boomboombrown says: Dec 30, 2013 11:06 AM

Green Bay will probably be drafting 21st after being throttled in the wild card round. Again they will reach for a defensive lineman or offensive lineman and pick another 1st round bust!

  20. baltimoresnativeson says: Dec 30, 2013 11:06 AM

Late draft picks have taken its toll on the Patriots also, thats why they were smoked in the playoffs by the Ravens TWICE recently, in foxborough.

  21. baltimoresnativeson says: Dec 30, 2013 11:08 AM

Oh and by the way Packers fans, Flacco has never had a losing season, unlike your golden boy Aaron Rogers.

With much less offensive help I should add.

  22. grruffgrruff says: Dec 30, 2013 11:16 AM

That 4th pick should encourage many wanting to interview for the Browns new head coach position, considering the Browns have had the 4th pick in almost all of the last 15 drafts.

  23. kuranda84 says: Dec 30, 2013 11:23 AM

Hey Redskins, thanks for hooking up the Rams w/ a premier player! That was really cool of y’all!

23 INTS in less than 2 years. Yeah, I’d say RGMe has worked out well thus far.

On their way to Lambeau Field where the current temperature is -4 with a windchill of -18. Might have to wear a hat.

  26. krautmick says: Dec 30, 2013 7:15 PM

Wasn’t it the Redskins who two years ago were trading up with the Rams for the 2nd pick to get RG3?

Are these the same Redskins that will have to (under a shiny new head coach) auction off their position in multiple future drafts in order to trade up with the Rams again for another “franchise QB”, all because the current QB is not working out? I think that’s ironic.

  27. sbchampsagain says: Dec 30, 2013 9:39 PM

So now that we know the draft order, do we know which pick the Steelers are forfeiting for Tomlin stepping on the field?

Seems like a simple swap between us and the Ravens should fix it all up, and end this fiasco once and for all.

  28. ktbkendall42 says: Dec 31, 2013 4:37 PM

With That Logic Andrew Luck is bigger bust (27 Int) than RG3…

How can the Dolphins finish behind the Jets in the AFC East, yet the Jets get the better pick?

  30. orangecrush823 says: Jan 1, 2014 2:04 PM

HaHa! Suddenly the whole talk of the Ratbirds nation is draft picks!

  31. ravensterps says: Jan 2, 2014 10:00 AM

Joe Flacco has more Super Bowl MVPs than your quarterback, and that’s the only reason we play the game.

  32. voidhelix says: Jan 2, 2014 4:40 PM

Being the best player in the SB`s not why we play, numbskull. Winning championships is. And that`s TEAM based. Ur superior team doesn`t mean ur QB`s superior.

  33. hayhay1215 says: Jan 19, 2014 11:30 PM

To baltimorenativeson spit it out long enough to read what the hell you just wrote. Joe flacco ain’t worthy enough to wash the jock strap of Tom Brady. Number one I’m not a New England fan nor a Tom Brady fan but Tom Brady is a good quarterback. I happened to be a fan of the best team in nfl and that’s pittsburgh steelers. The only thing that sucks worse then the ravens are there fans!!!!!! Go steelers.
